Designing your day

I teach a class called ” Designing your day with the power of intentions” this class is one of the most powerful classes that I teach because it supplies you with the tools to create your day. Using intentions and affirmations you align your thoughts and words with the expectancy of great things happening.
So tell me how do you start your day?  As a mom I would just get up and hit the floor running, gotta do this, gotta do that and the list went on. Very rarely was I able to sit down in the silence with a pencil and paper to map out my day. So I was designing by default. What that means is that your day is being created with any help from you so whatever random thoughts you are thinking show up. Not always pleasant. So I decided to design my day, waking up 30 minutes earlier, sitting and intending the things I wanted to happen that day as well as even writing down something that I knew I couldn’t do and giving that list to my Angels. Guess what happen, great things began to appear.
So my questions to you is how are your days designed?

Mercury In Retrograde By S. Miller

At several points throughout the year most of us will be bombarded with the maddening effects of Mercury in retrograde. Mercury is a planet which governs all transportation and communication issues. Mercury is not an emotional planet, but rather a highly objective, truth-seeking one. It rules intelligence, education and truth. When it is in retrograde, some of its power is held back.

When Mercury starts turning in an apparent backward motion, we will start to feel the effects of this event days or even as far as two weeks earlier. When the planet normalizes we will see the tempo of events pick up in our lives as the planet becomes "stationary" and then speeds forward.
Gemini and Virgo are signs ruled by Mercury, so if you are one of those born during those months, you will be complaining especially loudly. If you work in the industries ruled by this planet such as sales, writing, public relations, advertising, publishing, air freight, the post office or express mail, any transportation industry, from the airlines to Amtrak, you'll also be especially vulnerable to this planet's weird motions in September. (If you are a Gemini, for example, who works in publishing, it's no use calling in for a month of mental health days--you can't escape!)

What happens when Mercury retrogrades? You miss appointments, your computer equipment crashes, checks get lost, you find the car you just purchased during Mercury retrograde is a lemon. (Or, you hate your haircut, the lamp you bought shorts out, your sister hates her birthday gift.) There will be countless delays, cancellations and postponements--but know these will benefit you in the long run. Don't fight them, although your frustration level and feeling of restlessness will be hard to cope with at times.
All machinery and things with moving parts--such as computers, VCRs, camera equipment, garbage disposals, and so forth, will reveal any weak links now. It is critical that you back up your data system and be more careful and vigilant than ever. Projects will demand more time and money than anticipated this month.
In matters of the heart, if your boyfriend or girlfriend breaks up with you or says something hurtful, take a wait-and-see attitude. Since Mercury rules speech, they may not mean what you think they are saying now. Let them have some space, and wait to see if they mean in October what they said in September.
When traveling, leave early and allow for extra travel time. Have all bags double-taped closed, count your belongings, double-check addresses and reconfirm appointments. Things get lost when Mercury messes us up. Take NOTHING for granted. The sector of your chart that Mercury happens to be skating through will be effected most dramatically, so check your forecast!

Why would the Universe give us Mercury retrograde? Because to move forward it is sometimes necessary to backtrack and reconfigure our paths in life. It is important to reconsider, repair, reflect, and reconnect. Mercury forces us to slow down and fix what's broken, and in so doing, rethink things. It also gives us time to get to projects we have put on the back-burner.
Some activities are lucky or actually improve when Mercury retrogrades. You are likely to bump into old friends that you haven't seen in years. Adopted children tend to find their birth parents during Mercury retrograde periods, or people locate their long lost siblings. Prosecutors often find clues to crimes that had previously remained unsolved for years. (Although sometimes the reverse is true--there is a greater danger, or example, that police can bungle evidence during a Mercury retrograde period, for clear thinking doesn't come easy for any of us then.) Mail that went astray weeks or even years ago shows up during Mercury retrograde. Some things that were lost reappear.

Now is also a good time to dress old wounds, clean up relationships or to simply bury the hatchet. Some people have great breakthroughs in psychotherapy during a Mercury retrograde period. For salesman, it is a positive time to backtrack over previous contacts rather than call on new ones. It is a perfect time to schedule work on projects that you haven't had time to do and you've let pile up. Bring your resume or portfolio up to date, and clean out your closets. Take time to paint the house. Clear your decks.
Just try not to start new things. If you have to start a job during a Mercury retrograde period know that the nature of the job is likely to change dramatically over time. Perhaps the person you report to will leave, or your responsibilities will be very different from what you thought they would be. Or your company won't be ready to take you on, and you won't have much to do until things are reorganized. But remember, if this was a position that you tried for in the past, then you've got the vibes working for you rather than against you.
Finally, what about people born with Mercury retrograde? If you are due to give birth to a baby during this period, don't fret. The ancients felt that this aspect lends a more philosophical tone to the character. Mercury rules thinking, therefore an individual born with this aspect tends to reflect deeply over events and issues throughout their lifetimes. In this case, having this aspect could be a big plus!

Chose your side

Everyday of your life you have the chance to chose. You can chose how your day will be, who you will attract, even how successful you will be. Yet there are so many people that feel powerless. You want a great life, with lots of love and wonderful friendships but there are not appearing. You are applying everything that you have ever read, heard and even the things that people have told you to do but nothing is happening. The reason for this is that you have left out one key ingredient and it is called Faith. No matter what you know, if you don't have faith that it is going to happen then you are on the Fear side of the road.

This walk of life contains 2 sides of the road, the Faith side is the side where all things are possible , everything that you can believe you can achieve, Faith is where the Universe literally opens up and says" What do you want?' Faith is the evidence of things unseen, Faith tells you "YES YOU CAN" when in reality all you see are closed doors, Faith says "Hold on, we are working on it.

The fear side of the road tells you that "you can't" " that is impossible" "what will people say" "no one is gonna do that" " You can't find love" "why you?'. Fear is FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL!!

So when it comes to having the life you desire, chose a side... I chose FAITH..

Much Love,
Fran

Words of Katy

I have a lot of people who ask me about "Katy", so today I thought that I would tell you a bit about her and then allow her to speak...

Katy is an Angel, when she first came into my energy she had no name and told me that she was like most Angels not attached to names, however that Angels are attached to the vibration of your words. So I ask her " What do I call you?" and she said" A name that means love or someone that you are fond of that is not physical." So I started calling her Katy( which is my grandmothers name.) Katy began to tell me that she is an Angel that is on the 14th dimension of the heavenly realms and that she is not an Archangel, but that she specializes in educating,  empowering, uplifting and setting a straight course for those who are interested but that she cuts through the chase. She also told me that she has spent a lot of time in the South and has a Southern Draw. People who have seen me channel Katy knows that she loves chocolate, doesn't like for me to sit and is a very straight shooter with a very contagious laugh.

Now I will allow her to share a few words:

Greetings,
Firstly I want to let you know that I am thankful that you are allowing me to give a messages to all who will read this but this . Everything that you need in your life is given to you, you have a chance to accept it or reject it. Most of the time physical beings reject it without realizing that they are by the thoughts that they think and the words that they speak and yet you wonder where it is? ( Laughing)  You have to be patience enough to continue on your journey, some things can happen over night somethings happen in a few days some in a few years for spirit knows no time. We work according to your faith, did you know that? And sometimes having faith means waiting. You see God is a loving, caring God and his desires are that you have your desires but if you can not believe that you will how can one give those to you. You must keep your eyes on the bigger picture and if you need to pull from something pull from the times that you were a marvelous creator, when you wanted something in your physical life and nothing was gonna stop you. You are energy, energy attracts energy and when you have on the full jacket of knowing that you have what you need. It is coming.

Thank you dear one, I am complete for now.

Thank you Katy for allowing me to be the vessel through which you speak, I truly am humbled and I love you.

In Gratitude,
Fran

The Power of Intentions P.L. Desy

It’s time to change the way we think and speak about our dreams. Transforming a conversation, just like manifesting a dream, begins by setting an intention. Your intentions will assist you in taking greater control of your life.

A working definition for intention is: “to have in mind a purpose or plan, to direct the mind, to aim.” Lacking intention, we sometimes stray without meaning or direction. But with it, all the forces of the universe can align to make even the most impossible, possible. My intention is to transform the conversation around dreams from fear and doubt, to hope and possibility, followed by action and results.

Some might say this is not the right time to dream. The media and masses say, “It’s time to be realistic.” Consider this. Without our dreams all we have is our present reality. Reality is not a bad thing. We have to know where we are so we can design the appropriate strategy for getting to where we want to be. The challenge is our attitude around “reality” and being “realistic” and what being realistic has cost us. Often that’s our passion and joy, our hopes and dreams.

Given the unknowns and sometimes craziness of life, there’s never been a more important time to dream and setting your intention is the first step. When should you set an intention? You could set an intention every day. Your intention could be to work less and make more, or to find a new career that you are passionate about. It could be to get healthy and physically fit, or to spend more quality time with loved ones or alone. It can be specific and about something in particular or more like a quality, such as to be more relaxed or involved with life.

At seventy, Bessie set an intention to become a world famous photographer. Although many thought she was too old, she didn’t. She entered a photo contest where she won the first prize of $10,000. Her prize-winning photo toured around the world with a Kodak exhibit. She told me, “We’re never too old to make a dream come true.”

People set intentions on all kinds of dreams; to get married or have children, to get a job or make a career change, to write a book, lose weight, or move to a foreign country. When you set an intention and then act on it to demonstrate your commitment, amazing things occur. Intention can also give us fortitude for dealing with tough times. I am currently rebuilding my home. I simply wanted to add on a new bathroom, but with all the surprises an old (and charming) house can offer, every turn has been a shock, sometimes even a nightmare. It looks like the entire building may need to be rebuilt. My intention is to live through this process with dignity and grace. I am tested daily. It’s often not easy, but this intention has helped me maintain composure, sanity, and on a good day, a sense of humor. Intention can be used for community or social issues, global events or (literally) in your own backyard.

For example:
  • Before you get out of bed, you can intend to have a fun or productive day.
  • Before you leave the house, you can intend to have quality time with your family or roommate.
  • Before you start your car, you can intend to have a safe ride to work.
  • Before you enter your workplace, you can intend to learn something new or be helpful.
  • Before the meeting begins, you can intend to be brilliant or calm.
  • First Steps:

    1. Get clear about something you want and write it down.

    2. Share your intention with someone in a way that will supportively hold you accountable to taking action.

    3. Do something today to demonstrate your commitment to your intention.

    4. Acknowledge that you did what you said you would and then, take the next step.

By setting an intention, you make it clear to yourself and others, just what you plan to do. Set an intention to redefine what it means to be serious about your dreams.

Whose your Dad?

Over the holiday seasons we always give out gifts cards, so I gave a man one today and he said " Wow you must have a lot of money to do this?' And I said " Nope but my dad is rich", He said, "Really? " I said " Oh Yeah, he is limitless, he has a lot of everything, he's a doctor, he's a lawyer, he's even a banker, and he fixes broken hearts. He gives me everything that I ask for and sometimes even things that are better than I could ever imagine!" He said " Do you think he would help me, someone like me I have been unemployed for sometime, and my wife left me, maybe he can help me?' I said " I know that he will , I will ask him, but sometimes he wants you to ask for yourself." He said " when can I meet him." "Anytime", I told him, he's your dad too, his name is God and he loves you and makes all things possible for his children who believe."  Whose Your Daddy?

The Power of giving

Giving is powerful. Many people will attempt to prevent you from taking, yet no one can stop you from giving as much as you wish.
Give, and you increase the value that flows through your life. Give of yourself, and you make yourself stronger.
Every time you interact with someone else, you have the opportunity to give that person some kind of value. Whether it is a thing, or a thought, a gesture or a kind word, the most powerful gifts are those that come straight from the heart.
Many will appreciate your gifts and some will not, but that is not the point. For it is the sincere act of giving, not how the gift is received, that brings value and goodness to your world.
As you give more and more, you have more to give. As the joy of giving flows out from you, new richness fills your life.
Each moment is an opportunity to engage the beautiful, loving power of giving. Give your best and you’ll get even better.
